roses shot serie, what's behind the final photo

i took these to show how is to shot roses and tho show things you can't see in the final photograph, for example the surrounding, where the light comes from, the background etc., for example in the photo above you can see my source of light.. my living room window :D

i always work in manual mode and there you can see the little "macro" flower on the settings

bleeding love serie

i incredibly edited like 11 shots of this serie, much more than i commonly do 'cause i really liked many of them :D i'm so happy

i found this beautiful star shaped lolly pop at a store and i HAD to buy ;)
it's also happened to go pretty well with my new shirt that got to buy at LOB
...gosh i love LOB!
and finally after months i dyed my hair again a week ago... and yeah, it was another reasson to take lotsa shots hehehe

when roses and make-up meet

i had the idea of drawing shapes on roses a few weeks ago but when i was about to try i found out it was going to be harder than i thought and went with another idea. i splattered black make up in one of my pink roses and liked the result :3


in here you can see the set up, i used a pretty cool salmonish news paper for the background courtesy of my sister hehehe

hopefully i'll try to draw on my roses again with a good result

new happenings

this is one of my latest shots that i, by pure luck had the time to shot hahaha, well almost, life is being soooo busy lately and seems that's gonna stay that way for quite a time *sigh
i know it's quite an overdone shot but it's good practice and i wanted to see how it would come out so here it is :3
i kinda like it, not that much to be honest, i might try to do another set with the same concept but different... if you know what i mean :D
i took this shot when i went to Acapulco for a very nice weekend, i miss the beach sooo bad i want to come back as soon as possible *snif hehehe
the sun and temperature were perfect and i got to go to fisher's hahaha, now it's one of my favs restaurants *luv!!! i took pandi with me too btw, he had so much fun too hahaha and survived from an almost certain death omg he's sooo brave (if you don't know who Pandi is well, he's a plushie and soo cute lmao)

remember my purple monitor?? now i have a new one!! yay
