day 3 of 365, today's session

3 days ago i started the 365 project
it's quite a challenge but i thought it was worth it
i plan to take every single photo with my cellphone camera
in order to be more experimental :3
here are a few shots that i took for day 3

august first photos

i can almost taste freedom hahaha, i had no time to shot on July, i just have 2 sets from that month *sigh. but i'll have more free time soon enough ^^
for now i'm uploading some photos i took today a few hours a go
i love the lil lemon on this one :p
it's kinda cute


woots waterdrops and glitter ^^
this one was really hard to shot, i couldn't get a rounded drop u.u
still liked it though :3

june 12 selfportraits

i tried a different style this time, quite vintaish 'cause i really like it and it was quite a hard and nice experience, in photos like this i realize how bad my camera distorts the images, i do plan buying a new camera soon, if luck is on my side

i really don't know what flowers are those but i love them :3

here a little experiment i wanted to do with an apple (photoshoped)
and i found that red lace wich turned to be a nice add ^^
i like these kind of shots because you really can't see my face :D


for these i used a black fabric with a white flower pattern on it, when i saw it in the fabrics shop a few months a go i couldn't help myself and a bought it, i think i never really used it before though

i liked the movement of the fabric ( i did this with my other hand while the cam was taking the pic (i used a tripod, no remote though, i do need one badly)

for all of these i used natural light and took place in my bedroom ;)

finally my first drawing is finished!!
it took me about 6 hours, i lost a lot of practice *sigh
i know it has many "details" to be fixed but hey, it's my first
i'll get better with time ^^
i called it "carried with the wind"

this is the image i used for reference, i only draw a part of her face though
i think i'm gonna use bjd's also for future references 'cause i love them *giggle

yup this is how it all began, looks pretty bad hahaha but details are everything and i make sure to get them as perfect as possible

new works coming

so, i just got my new wacom intuos (my first tablet ever) aka: penelope
and i just started using it and i absolutely love it!!!
i wanted one forever, now i'm back on drawing mwahahaha
wich is one of my passions :3

btw. this is just a snick pick of what i'm working on, hopefully i'll finish this drawing today

just bought a really cool pink top and i was thinking how would i use it in my pics when i went to a fabric shop to buy some cool fabrics for backgrounds and found this lovely pink fabric, it was perfect! of curse i had to buy it too ^^

how to create DOF in photoshop

hi ^^
i'm going to show you how to create DOF (depth of field) in photoshop, it's very easy, we're going to use a mask.
1.-open your pic in photoshop

2.-select this tool (edit in quick mask mode)
3.- we're going to use the gradient now, your pic should look like this:
4.-repeat step 2 and now a selection will appear, go to "filter->blur->gaussian blur" and change the radius until you get the effect you like and that's it!
