wishing upon a star serie

i incredibly edited like 11 shots of this serie, much more than i commonly do 'cause i really liked many of them :D i'm so happy

i found this beautiful star shaped lolly pop at a store and i HAD to buy ;)
it's also happened to go pretty well with my new shirt that got to buy at LOB
...gosh i love LOB!
and finally after months i dyed my hair again a week ago... and yeah, it was another reasson to take lotsa shots hehehe

when roses and make-up meet

i had the idea of drawing shapes on roses a few weeks ago but when i was about to try i found out it was going to be harder than i thought and went with another idea. i splattered black make up in one of my pink roses and liked the result :3


in here you can see the set up, i used a pretty cool salmonish news paper for the background courtesy of my sister hehehe

hopefully i'll try to draw on my roses again with a good result

new happenings

this is one of my latest shots that i, by pure luck had the time to shot hahaha, well almost, life is being soooo busy lately and seems that's gonna stay that way for quite a time *sigh
i know it's quite an overdone shot but it's good practice and i wanted to see how it would come out so here it is :3
i kinda like it, not that much to be honest, i might try to do another set with the same concept but different... if you know what i mean :D
i took this shot when i went to Acapulco for a very nice weekend, i miss the beach sooo bad i want to come back as soon as possible *snif hehehe
the sun and temperature were perfect and i got to go to fisher's hahaha, now it's one of my favs restaurants *luv!!! i took pandi with me too btw, he had so much fun too hahaha and survived from an almost certain death omg he's sooo brave (if you don't know who Pandi is well, he's a plushie and soo cute lmao)

remember my purple monitor?? now i have a new one!! yay

i've been working like this for days, it works normally from time to time but when it's like this it distorts all colours, i can't see no green at all, not useful if you're a graphic designer uh?
plus it's old, i try not to complain but i can't work like this, hopefully i'll show you pics of my new monitor soon *fingers crossed

btw i changed the ugly flower thingy covering my desk and replaced it with this cool orange paper :3

and my layout went away

dunno what happened really hehehe, i was trying to update my layout using one from http://www.deluxetemplates.net/ everything went ok 'til i spoted a pic that shouldn't be there, tried to erase it but i couldn't find the problem, so i used a basic template to start from zero and now i can't change anything *sigh
my blog doesn't let me change the html *fail

i'll try to fix it later

busy sunday

i found this little fellas growing in the front yard, i was so excited i took a few and minutes later i was taking photos of them hahahaha :p
first of all i took photos of my lovely canon reflex wich i haven't used in months, films are so expensive *sigh

i absolutely adore film but my true love is digital *giggle
i was saving some money to get my a netbook but that might wait a little more, i rather buy a new camera :D i love my canon power shot but's not a reflex and that's exactly what i want, so, maybe in a couple of months i'll be shooting with a brand new cam yay!!

afterwards i took some other photos of my new book and a plastic plant...yes, plastic!!
i'm not a fan of artificial nature but it was on hand so i decided to use it ^^

in there you can also see an apple and a perfume bottle, i love "natura" perfumes and essences and everything hahaha lol

and finally the pics of the little flowers :3
